SILCHAR, June 15: The Hmar Students’ Association (HSA) Jiribam unit felicitated the HSA members who came out with flying colours in the recently declared results conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) class X and HSLC and HSSLC conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).
The Meritorious Students who secured first division were felicitated at 10 am at the Tribal Community Hall, Hmarveng, Jiribam. The successful students in HSLC were, Angelta Joute and Lalramsang Hmar, while the HSSlC students were Lalringum Hmar and Samson Lalhnetheng Amo, both of them in the Science stream.
Besides this, Samuel Lalthlamuong Amo was also feted for his success in clearing the MBBS entrance examination both in Silchar medical College and Dibrugarh Medical College.
Speaking on the occasion Pu Lalaurilien Am encouraged the students to study harder so that they became the torch bearers of the Hmars in particular and the nation in general in various fields of profession. HSA Joint Headquarters Jiribam president Thangsanglur in his presidential speech concluded with the HSA Motto, “Sinin, Sanin Hrilin, serve The Nation”. THE SENTINEL
